Fade To Black…

I have no idea if anyone still follows this site or will even see this, but I live in hope one or two might. It has been over 2 years believe it or not since I last wrote anything on here, and a lot has changed for me. Giving up writing here was hard, but I had new commitments with my family and something had to give. I spoke at length with quite a lot of you about my new family and challenges, so I thought I’d share a little photo of the angels that steal my free time.

I’ve decided to start a new site (another one, I know) but this one will be a new beginning and not just horror reviews. I want to keep a journal basically of what I watch, and offer some thoughts on the stuff I see, both movies and TV shows. I would love any of you to stop by the new site and hopefully we can reconnect. The new site is called Fade To Black and whilst it’s still under construction, I hope to be a lot more regular with my posts on there. I’m back watching quite a lot of films and I look forward to sharing my thoughts with anyone that happens to stop by. Headinavice will always be here but I won’t be updating it any more. All new posts will go on the new site, so please give it a look and a follow if you’re so inclined, just click the image below to check it out.

Once again I apologise for vanishing, but I look forward to catching up with some old friends and new ones hopefully, and I’ll be visiting sites to see what I’ve missed out on.

Movie Reviews: Area 51; It Follows; The Jokesters; Mockingbird

I feel like I’m forever taking a break from my site, then coming back, making my apologies and trying to stick around, then life gets in the way and before I know it 3 months have passed. I could make excuses, like this time we’ve moved house to the middle of nowhere, and even in this day and age there are places that still can’t get working internet. But aside from that, and the constant DIY whilst trying to work full-time at night and look after my little girl during the day, my wife and I decided that wasn’t enough to keep me busy. So I present to you baby #2, due with us early January 2016……… 🙂

Movie Reviews – Afflicted; Backcountry; Grizzly; Killers; Time Lapse; Under The Skin

Some of you may realise I haven’t posted anything here in a while. To cut a long story short, I’m hoping to revive this site and keep it ticking over with new reviews. I say reviews, they’re more like brief thoughts on movies you may or may not have heard about, or at the very least they might offer you a little something different to the usual Hollywood blockbusters. They won’t always be good films that I showcase here, but hopefully there’ll be something to tempt you. I’d love to chat about any of these movies if you’ve seen them, or if I’ve at all piqued your interest, or even if you just want to know where the hell I’ve been for six months, please just sound off in the comments section below.

Love (2011)

Today I have a special treat for you all. After being persuaded to put down his drink and curb his anger for one night only, my good friend Mark Walker from Marked Movies is here with his review on the 2011 Sci-Fi movie LOVE. He and I have had many arguments over the film, and the proof that he and his review are full of shit is thus; Eric IPC & I agreed for the first & only time that LOVE is a superb movie. And that the review you are about to read from Mark is bullshit. Of course we are all entitled to our own opinions, and films are meant to divide thoughts, but I just wanted to abuse my power as site owner and get that out of the way. That being said, please his enjoy his ~~incorrect~~ thoughts on LOVE 🙂

The Past (2013)

Everyones favourite Aussie Tim from Beermovie is here today with his thoughts on The Past. Not his past, as I imagine that’s full of regrets, bad decisions and generally just cursing his luck that he isn’t me, but rather the French–Italian–Iranian drama film.
